Guides

Outwar is a game which you aim to grow stronger.  You fight others to earn cash of which to buy items to enhance your character.  There are two different modes, Role Play League and Competitive.  If you play in the league your aim is to buy a trophy in the shortest space of time.    However, if you play in Competitive your aim is to either be the strongest or have the most money in a period of a month.  Every month your character is restarted in Competitive mode (in Role Play you can keep training your character for as long as you like)

This guide will give you hints and tips to begin playing and earning cash!

Beginning

You begin either as a monster, gangster or popstar.  Once you've chosen which you cannot change.  If you sign up under a character you'll become whatever type they were and they will be your "parent".  Otherwise you will be born an orphan.  There is no advantage to you in being an orphan or being born with someone else as your parent.

Underlings

Whenever you refer someone to sign up under you, you gain an underling.  The more people your underlings eat, the more benefical to you.  For every three they eat you grow by one, so it is good to have underlings.

Crews

You get a crew by buying headquaters at the Shop.  These allow you to start your own crew.  However, it is best when you first begin to wait for an invitation from another crew.  These often consist of a lot of members already, and the more members, the more benefical to you.

Within the Point section of Outwar there's an option which comes up once you're in a crew.  It allows you to buy an extra 1% chance of a crew member coming to your aid in battle.  The more people in the crew that buys it, the better it becomes.  If people in the crew are generally strong, they will inflict lots of damage to your opponent in battle.

There are other things that you can buy for crews such as a saterllite system (allows communication between the crew by means of a forum) and a depository (increases the loot stolen by 1%)

Attacking

To attack another character, just visit the Attack section on the site.  Generally go for people of a lower level than you, unless you have good enough items to be able to defeat those who are stronger.    Unless you have Attack points you won't be able to attack people.  You get one each hour.  If you save these up until you have ten and then attack someone, you will win a lot more money than you would have if you attack someone with only one attack point.

Make sure you attack someone with money, or else you won't get anything!!!  Also it is good to deposit some of your money in the bank.  That way if someone attacks you and you lose, you won't lose all of your hard earned cash!

Money

The easiest way of getting money is waiting.  Every hour your character will raid the nearby town and you'll be given money (the stronger you are the more money you'll get).  However, waiting is boring and not the only way to get money.  You can attack characters (see the Attacking section), buy money with Points or win money on the lottery or scratchcards.

Scratchcards can be very nice, you have the chance to win + attacks, cash (up to $2 million!) although they are very expencive.  You buy scratchcards at the Casino section.  This is also where you buy lottery tickets.  Lottery tickets are cheaper.

Points

Points aren't necessaries, but they can get quite good items.  Points can be "earnt", although you will have to visit some of Outwar's sponsers or bought (with real money).  They can buy some nifty things (such as power, attack points, game cash and the ability to have no pop-ups when you visit the site) but it takes a while to get enough points to do this.

Growing

You grow by making people click the link to your character.  Your character "eats" the clicker, making him/her grow by a foot.

Character Pictures

You can customise your character's picture by buying a Digital Camera at the shop.  You can then upload whatever picture you wish.
